Then...I realized that I need to start "doing" instead of wondering "what-if" and "regretting" not doing things. Seriously, what is the worst that could happen. If I walk in and hate it or feel uncomfortable then I can just leave and that is it, I at least did it. Thankfully I have some wonderful friends from high school that I am still in great friends with I knew that I would have to show up alone (cause Brett had to work).
First of all I was worried about what to wear, what to do with my hair and what to do with my makeup. It can be so hard to be a girl, Brett didn't put in 1/100th of the thought into what he was going to wear for his h.s. reunion as I did into my outfit and he looked great. Anyways, I needed to go get some lipstick at M.A.C. and if you didn't know this about M.A.C. if you spend a certain amount they will do your makeup for you (there are different amounts for just eyes or full face). I have done this before for weddings, special events and am so glad I did it for my reunion, cause my makeup looked hot and there is no way I would have been able to do this myself. Here is an iPhone shot of the makeup before the night started.

You know what else helped get me ready for the reunion? Alcohol. Yes, shots of Jameson and then some vanilla vodka and dr. pepper. Yes, I pre-drank before the party. You can judge me but I had no nerves going into the reunion.
I did enter the reunion the way I entered my high school career, the dorkiest way possible by tripping. Thankfully the only people who saw it were people who are still great friends in my life and they see my make a dork out of myself all the time. After I recovered from the trip it was a bunch of "Heys!!!!" and hugs and catching up and drinks and pictures. It was great, I laughed, caught up and even got to show off Brett (who showed up after he got off work).
Here are some photos of the evening. Seriously, still so happy that I decided to go, I have absolutely no regrets about the night.

I can't wait for the 20 year and even better to catch up with some of my old high school friends in the meantime.
Also, this was on my list of 101 things to do in 1001 days and I get to cross it off, booyah!
