NaBeThiToDoMo

I don't know about you guys, but this NaBloPoMo thing is starting to kill me. The quality of my posts is down, I'm posting later and later each night, and for the past week when I sit down to start typing, the dogs are already looking at me with that "when are we going to bed?" look.

What would I rather be participating in?

1. NaTaNaMo- I take a nap everyday for the month.
2. NaHuDogMo- I hug the dogs at least once a day, whether they deserve it or not.
3. NaLawOMo- I watch an episode of Law and Order every day at lunch for a month. (Now that I think about it, I think I actually am particpating in this.)
4. NaSeHaMo- Every night, Brett and I... well, you get the picture.
5. NaPajaMo- I wear pajamas nonstop for a month.
6. NaBloPopMo- At least one Blo-Pop each day a month. With the Halloween candy we have left, I might be able to do this one, too.
7. NaFooRuMo- Brett gives me a foot rub every day.
8. NaQdoMo- Qdoba for lunch for a solid month.
9. NaSnoozMo- Sleeping in every day in November.
10. NaDoAnyMo- Do anything else for a month

Actually, I think if you have do anything for 30 days in a row you are going to get sick and tired of it. Or maybe that is how I just feel right now cause I am at the half way mark and I am exhausted.

I guess no matter what you do for 30 days in a row, you'd get pretty sick of anything.

If you didn't get the title of this post, it is National Better Things to Do This Month.

In my case, my entries are just getting shorter. .. There's several projects I would like to blog about but it's a bit of a research project in itself just to get all the pieces together. So I leave it with a line and just take a nap.

Oh, and "hi Brett".

Maybe that is why Morgan Spurlock has that show on FX called 30 days, about doing something for 30 days to get a sense of what someone has to go through to get a sense of it. He was the person who produced the movie "Supersize Me" about eating nothing but McDonald's for 30 days and the weight he gained/health issues he developed as a result.

HAHAHA... this is hilarious! I checked my phone when I was in bed this morning and read this post and it seriously made my laugh out loud. :-)

I totally feel you. NaBloPoMo is definitely kicking my butt too. I didn't do it last year and I thought it looked like so much fun. I has wished I had joined in... so this year I was determined to do it. You know what's funny? All those bloggers that did it last year, are not doing it this year. They learned their lesson. I can almost put money on me not doing it next year.

For me it hasn't been hard to find time to post, its the content that is kind of getting though. But since Nov 1st, I've been keeping a running list of possible posts on a sticky on my monitor. That way, when I get pressed for something to write, I just pick from the list. IE... the cell phone jems from yesterday. :-) Also, if I have a few posts I need to get out of my brain, I write them all at once and just schedule them to be posted once a day... that way I feel like I'm getting a break and only writing blogs 3 times a week. Its helped me so for. But not enough for me to subject myself to this again. :-)

Ok... this comment has gotten long enough. Adios!

Yeah, I think Nablopomo would totally be killing me too! But I've been enjoying all of your entries!

This post was a lot of fun!

@seeshermblog there is no way that I am doing this again next year. Now I know why so many bloggers that I read didn't participate!

loved your comment!

I dropped out super early, but you know what it really helped me realize that it's more important to have a life OUTSIDE of blogging. I definitely think you should take a little break afterwards and soak up your nablopomo success

I didn't even try and I am so glad. I would have failed day one, which is actually why I didn't even try. I realized what day it was three days in.

Also, since I have been sick since Tuesday, I am currently doing #1, 5 and 9. And I am ignoring my blog. I like your list!

Muahahaha! This is the greatest NaBloPoMo entry EVER! You totally made me giggle. Love it.

My favorites are #3 (I'm certainly a fan - except the only one I usually watch is SVU!) and #4 (I'm sure the guys would definitely sign up for that!).

You are too adorable. :)
