Let me take you on a little tour of our house after the toys have been brought out.
Here you have where the two halls meet and the entry way were we have puppy, red lobster and orange weiner dog.

Next is my office (where the dogs spend most of their weekdays); this is the end of the bed. We have ducky, bear and blue thingy.

Up on the guest bed in my office we have frosty and squeaky bee.

Next walking down the hall towards the master bedroom we have Sammy sitting innocently with skeleton bear and froggy. While making my bed I also stumbled upon green sheep in the comforter, which isn't uncommon as a certain pup likes to bring green sheep to be with her every night.

Really Sammy is the innocent one and these photos prove it. One dog and one dog alone brings out every single toy and leaves them all over the house. That dog would be Maggie (she also is the one that brings green sheep to bed with her)

So if this is also a familiar sight at your house we can only guess that you have pups as well and we feel your pain.
No matter how much time I spend picking up toys usually Maggie is right behind me pulling them out of the toy box. Oh the joys of puppy parenthood.
Now I must go and attempt to pick up all the toys that I put away just 10 minutes ago.

Haha that's too funny, I bet they have more stuffed animals than a kid :)
I am so addicted to buying Frankie toys! Just yesterday we went to get more dog food and I picked him up two new friends. sigh. I just can't help myself
I'm not sure that Sammy ever got attached to a toy quite the same way that Maggie is to Green Sheep.
Hahah, this cracks me up because it happens to us too. Except our little 8 lb pom drags his blankets and his bed into the hallway. It doesn't matter how big something is, if he wants it, he'll play with it! Haha.
Oh this sounds like Chester so much! He has five or so at my house and four at my boyfriend's house. When we move in together this April the toys will take over the place I'm sure of it. Chester also loves to pull every, single, one of them out not long after I pick up the toys. Too bad he doesn't put them away when he's done. :) Chester always brings his small giraffe to bed.
Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3...
YAY!!! IT WORKS! Do you know how distressing it is to want to comment on a post but being blocked by technology? *lol*
Anyhoo, I wanted to say that (1) your puppers are sooo cute, (2) you're so lucky that they can have stuffies and not wreck them in 5 seconds like my two heathens, (3) your house looks just like mine, and (4) have you ever inadvertently sat on or stepped on a half-chewed nylabone? All I can say is OWWIE!
Wait until you have kids. It actually gets worse.
You can't complain! Servo leaves rock hard bones in the middle of the floor. Do you know how much a bone hurts when you step on it in the middle of the night? We also have a tennis balls under every surface in the house.
On the subject of funny things dogs do, I have a gross story... our next door neighbor hunts every year and usually brings home a deer or two, and after they clean it and everything they dump the "extras" in the woods somewhere. Our dog likes to go into the woods, find random pieces of deer bone, and bring them into the house.
Dog toys not sounding so bad now, right? :)
