8 things

Another amazing weekend with gorgeous weather and long walks and lazing around and spending lots and lots of time with Brett.

I was tagged awhile back by Allison and can't believe I am finally getting around to this (but really who is shocked by the infrequent posting around here)

8 things I look forward to:
1. My 28th birthday in just 21 days.
2. Summer and all that it has in store for us.
3. 4th of July weekend
4. Going to Boston for work in June (I love the city, my co-workers and the show)
5. Exploring more of rural Nevada this summer
6. Going to Austin, TX for work in September (I love the city, my co-workers and the show)
7. My sister’s wedding in October
8. What the next 6 months has in store for us.

8 things I did yesterday:
1. Went shopping for new bedding and realized that we had exactly what we were looking for at home (with some modifications)
2. Took a nap
3. Went to Costco, soul draining Costco, which caused above nap
4. Took the pups on a walk around the ‘hood. The weather has been so gorgeous.
5. Ate french onion soup from Trader Joes and turkey sandwiches for dinner
6. Cuddle with Brett
7. Watched Role Models, hilarious
8. Watched the most amazing thunderstorm (and smelled the desert rain)

8 things I wish I could do:
1. Travel more
2. A cartwheel
3. Read more books
4. Garden
5. Not worry about money
6. See my parents more
7. See my sister Kenna more
8. Keep my house clean

8 shows I watch (in no particular order):
1. NCIS
2. Rules of Engagement
3. The Office
4. 30 Rock
5. My Boys
6. How I Met Your Mother
7. Two and a Half Men
8. Saturday Night Live

Also, I couldn't be more prouder of my father-in-law and the other senators/representatives of Nevada who overturned the veto of the Domestic Partnership Bill. It's not legalizing gay marriage but it is definitely a step in the right direction.

I can't believe that it is June. That the year is almost half over, that my 28th birthday is in 21 days. That my 10 year high school reunion is on June 27th. I can't believe that I just changed my calendar to May and it is already June. I don't want all of summer to go this fast, I am truly enjoying this summer more than I have the previous summers and well I want this feeling to last.
